Katsuyama is a city rich in nature, where the colors of the four seasons can be clearly felt. The eastern part of the city has a magnificent view of the Hakusan Mountains, and the Fukui Prefecture in the Kuzuryu River, the largest river in the center of the city. In the spring, the Benten Cherry Blossoms bloom along the Kuzuryu River; summer, camping in the greenery; in autumn, the autumn leaves change color; and in winter, the Hakusan Mountains stand tall in the deep snow.
