The Consulate-General of India in Osaka-Kobe co-hosted the event with the Wakayama Prefectural Government and supported by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) and JITCO, the Indian government's contact point for technical training.

At present, Japan has banned the entry of foreigners into the country, but the situation in the field is tight and there is an urgent need to accept foreign personnel.

Before and during the Corona, we had 34 trainees who went to Japan and are still working there.
On the Indian side, we have 60 selected trainees studying Japanese.

After the seminar, Many participants had a chance to talk to us in detail and showing interested.

The Japanese government's postponement of entry will only accelerate the shortage of manpower in the field. Let's wait for the connection between the field in Japan and the field in India as soon as possible.
