Their big day was on Oct 17 2020. Arriving on their aspiring journey
and being initially quarantined for 14 days they stepped up to their month long training, after completion
they were posted to their job location in northern most island of Japan, Hokkaido.
The COVID situation kept them waiting back home, but they made this time ideal for establishing and
strengthening their ties through online interactions with their counterparts.
It was a historic achievement for NAVIS and Hokkaido as this was the very first batch of Indian nurses to
Hokkaido. The weather was cold and snowing, but needless to say they were received with great warmth
by the people. The whole event was captured by the local press too.
Moreover, the nurses too felt very much at home as they are fluent in English and share resemblance with Japanese too! We are glad that
they became comfortable, much sooner than expected.
We are positive that the learning from NAVIS will help them establish their career and life, we are always there to support them and wish them only the best for their future
